Plot
In Omaha today, Gene has a sandwich at lunch break and is reading a book when she sees a mob hiding in a photo room. He reluctantly raises the shopkeeper to the mobs guard who pursued him, but then instinctively shouted at the cursed man to remain silent and hire a lawyer while he was walking away. After returning to work, Gene suddenly collapsed.
Plot
Back in 2002, Jimmy called Hamlin to tell him that Chuck had decided against his resignation. He helps Chuck pull foils out of his wall and keepsakes on the books they read together during their youth. Chuck quickly decided on nostalgia and reminded him that his actions would not be forgotten or forgiven. When Jimmy returned to the office, he shared with Kim and confessed to him about how refreshing it was to not be hated by Chuck even for just a few minutes.
Kim began to experience anxiety in running his own law firm as well as keeping knowledge of Jimmy's secret scam, though also making progress in getting Mesa Verde's hearing met an earlier date. Then, Bauer, the Air Force captain who toured the headquarters with Jimmy and his film crew, confronted him about entering the base on false pretenses and threatened to sue if his ads were not broadcast. Jimmy was momentarily cracked (because Bauer's argument sounded similar to what Chuck would use) but was ultimately unmoved by Bauer's threat. He points out that Bauer risked hurting his own career if the fact that he let an unauthorized person into the base was revealed, and that he could always summon Fudge as a witness to swing the jury to his side. Bauer issued a storm but not before warning that "the wheel will spin."
Chuck played Jimmy's confession to Hamlin. While he was surprised, Hamlin questioned what the recording could do because of the nature in which the confession was generated, the ways in which Jimmy could deny it as his voice, and it is unlikely that it would bring Mesa Verde back to HHM. Chuck, with a smirk, assures him that it's worth it. This was then "unintentionally" played by Ernesto when he replaced the battery in a tape recorder. Chuck quickly turned it off and made Ernesto promise not to say anything he heard to anyone on the basis of secrecy.
Mike frantically drove him away from the assassination site of Hector Salamanca and checked his station wagon for a tracking device but found nothing. Determined to find out how saboteurs prevent him from killing Hector, he unloads his car in a local junk but fails to find a tracer until he has enlightenment and finds it inside the gas lid of the car. After getting the same tracking device from Caldera, Mike learns how it works and finds that the tracker will warn the operator remotely when the battery runs out. He then replaced the tracker in his gas cap with the new one, draining the battery from the person who tracked it and waiting while snacking on pistachio. In the morning, someone arrives and picks up the tracker; Mike dressed up, armed himself and started his pursuit.

This episode received positive reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, this episode has a 100% rating with an average score of 8.8 out of 10 based on 11 reviews. The important consensus of the site reads, "Odenkirk and Bank take their respective" Mabel "parts with ease and satire in an episode that enliven the familiar aesthetic at a better than normal speed."
