Hawk incentives have become one of the major providers of producers and retail marketing promotions programs, including rebate and incentive programs. The company has been a major player in the popularization of paperless rebates and prepaid rebate card programs. Some Hawk Incentive clients include Netgear, Sprint Nextel and Staples Inc. For Staples, Hawk Incentives is credited with redesigning and managing the popular Easy Rebates program, which allows customers to use paperless submissions for rebates, offering reward and quick payment options. After a decade of working together, Staples extended his contract with Parago for another five years in 2010. [7]

President & amp; CEO Juli Spottiswood serves as a board member and Treasurer of Branded Branded Prepaid Card Network (NBPCA), a nonprofit organization promoting consumer education to help consumers optimize their experience with branded network prepaid cards, develop industry-recommended best practices and provide fact-based voice to media, government and consumers. The Company has experienced significant growth and expansion in the early 2000s. In 2010, Parago was named one of the businesses owned or led by the fastest growing woman in North America, as assessed by the Women's Presidential Organization. [9] That same year, Parago was ranked 19th on PROMO PROMO magazine's 2006 list of leading US promotional agencies [10] and Spottiswood was named one of 25 Top Industry Leaders by the Dallas Business Journal's Women in Business Awards. [11] In September 2014, Parago was purchased by the publicly traded Blackhawk Network, the leading prepaid and payment network, for $ 290 million.

In 2009, President and CEO of Parago Juli Spottiswood was recognized as Ernst & amp; The Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 in the business service category in Southwest Area-North. In the same year, the Company was selected as one of the best places to work in Dallas, through the Dallas Business Journal award program.

In 2004, Parago published research on customer loyalty and referrals that appeared in the book Strategic Marketing Database , 3rd Edition by Arthur Middleton Hughes from KBM.

The company was founded in 1999 as "how" How2.com website. In 2001, the company shifted its business to rebate and reward the program. Parago was founded by venture capital firm T. H. Lee from New York and formerly known as Parago Rebate HQ.
