Partnership by Increasing Their Voice
ABW partnered with Raise Our Voice throughout the 2012 tour Andrew Kooman She Has a Name ; while touring in Canada to raise awareness about human trafficking, ABW collects money to help women and children who have been trafficked in Thailand as part of the country's prostitution industry. In particular, the money raised into the Home of New Beginnings, a secure home founded in Bangkok in 2006, where former trafficking victims can receive life skills and spiritual healing education, enabling them to achieve a healthy lifestyle and financially stable. At the 2012 touring tour, the Home of New Beginnings has 17 inhabitants, the oldest is 33 and the youngest is 11. From their fundraising initiative with their Raise Their Voice, ABW hopes to raise $ 12,000 to pay outstanding property bills, $ 18,000 to buy two car rickshaws, $ 9000 to finance the training building, $ 9000 to buy vocational education equipment, and $ 5000 to finance a souvenir shop where people sell products they make, such as baked goods. The five members of Raise Our Voice have previous connections with ABW, and plans to have two organizations working together have evolved since 2011. The program passed on every performance that ABW recommended to audiences as a good organization to support, as well as listing websites of multiple other nonprofit organizations.
